Production:

Rumors swirled about whether Tama Mirza or Shobnom Bubly would land the lead role, but Prothom Alo has officially confirmed that Bubly will take center stage as the film’s leading actress. The announcement came after her stunning first look was unveiled on April 24, 2024. Adding to the star power, Prarthana Fardin Dighi will also play a pivotal role in the movie.

Siam Ahmed is set to surprise fans with a bold transformation, stepping into the shoes of a rugged, unconventional character. Embracing a raw and earthy look—complete with unkempt hair, a full beard, and traditional attire—he’s shedding his usual polished persona for this role. To fully embody the character, Siam avoided cutting his hair or beard for seven months, showcasing his dedication to authenticity.

Filming kicked off on April 21, 2024, in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting cinematic journey. Stay tuned for more updates!




Film’s Soundtrack: A Musical Masterpiece by Prince Mahmud

The film’s music is crafted by veteran composer Prince Mahmud, who previously delivered the acclaimed soundtrack for Himel Ashraf’s Rajkumar (2024). This time, he brings four original songs, composing and arranging each one himself. The soundtrack will be released as an album—marking his first album release since 2016, making it a highly anticipated musical event.

The first single, released on February 12, 2025 (just in time for Valentine’s Day), is written and composed by Prince Mahmud. It features the soulful vocals of Tahsan Rahman Khan and introduces Atiya Anisha in her film playback debut. The track’s mesmerizing arrangement is handled by Imran Mahmudul, promising a fresh yet timeless sound.

Following its success, the second single dropped on March 21, showcasing another stellar collaboration—this time between Imran Mahmudul and Dilshad Nahar Kona. With such an impressive lineup, the film’s music is set to captivate audiences and elevate the cinematic experience.

Box Office Success: Breaking Records:

The film has taken the box office by storm, amassing an impressive ৳2.06 crore (US$170,000) in its initial run—a milestone proudly announced by director M. Raahim in a Facebook post on April 16, 2025.

The momentum only grew stronger, with the film crossing ৳3.13 crore (US$260,000) within just 23 days of its theatrical release. By day 26, its total multiplex earnings soared to BDT 23.1 million, cementing its status as a commercial hit.

With such phenomenal numbers, the film continues to draw audiences, proving its widespread appeal and solidifying its place as a box office triumph.
